BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League leader Chengdu Rongcheng scored twice in the closing minutes to rescue a 2-2 draw against Beijing Guoan on Sunday, maintaining its commanding lead at the top of the table with 10 rounds remaining.
Beijing appeared on course for victory after Zhang Yuning struck twice early in the second half to give the visitors a 2-0 advantage.
Chengdu mounted a late comeback, with Brazilian striker Felipe pulling a goal back in the 87th minute after turning sharply inside the penalty area before firing home.
Egor Sorokin then headed in from Wei Shihao's long throw deep into stoppage time to earn Chengdu a point.
The draw kept Chengdu 15 points clear of second-placed Chongqing Tonglianglong as it moved closer to winning its first CSL title.
