Fujian Tulou, the unique residential architecture of Fujian Province in eastern China, harmonizes with the natural world while encapsulating a universe within, narrates tales of time through the ages, and documents the evolution of social civilization. In July 2008, at the 32nd session of the World Heritage Committee, Fujian Tulou was officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
