BEIJING, July 11 (Xinhua) -- A booklet of guidelines for advancing education reform and improving the quality of compulsory education has been published by the People's Publishing House.

The guidelines were issued by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council on Monday.

The booklet is now available at Xinhua Bookstore outlets across the country.
